It’s Heartbreaking When The Dukes of Hazzard’s Dodge Charger Is Crushed.
The star of The Dukes of Hazzard, John Schneider suffered a tremendous loss as Hurricane Ida severely damaged his personal General Lee.
The Trees fell on top of his iconic Dodge Charger as well as Schneider’s Louisiana home and studio, which are filled with Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia. The actor and his wife at the time were in Tennessee helping flood victims, proving no good deed goes unpunished.
The man took this devastating news better than everyone else, the actor stated on Facebook:. “When something like this happens you have two choices: Tears and laughter. I choose laughter.”
He has been making jokes about the damage, demonstrating that the man won’t sweat the stuff he can’t possibly control.
He chose that instead of concentrating on his own grief, helping others who need it most.
After surveying the damage at his house, he stated he was leaving to look at his mom’s house, then he was going back to Tennessee to help out with flood relief efforts. We’re sure the people he’s helping are appreciative of his selfless help.
But anyway it’s still sad seeing another General Lee crushed. After all, during filming of The Dukes of Hazzard, enough Dodge Chargers were trashed to fill a junkyard.
Before you get too heartbroken about Schneider’s General Lee the man stated he owns several of them.
We all should take him as inspiration on how people should act in these kinds of times.
