Tricked-Out Trucks, Sweet Tri-Fives, and More At the 21st Quarantine Cruise–Hot Gallery!

If you couldn’t make it to the biggest cruise in California, we’re here to show you some of the killer rides that showed up to the party.

The holidays are upon us but as any hot rodder in Southern California can tell you, any time is the right time to hit the road, and as participants of the 21st QruisinPCH Quarantine Cruise can attest, there aren’t many roads as sweet as the famed Pacific Coast Highway. November’s event was number 21, and once again, hundreds of the faithful turned out to gather, show off their rides, and cruise the California Coast.

With so many rides showing up, we decided to spread our coverage over multiple days so we could bring you as much of this killer scene as possible. On day one, we focus on the hot trucks and tri-five Chevys that showed up at cruise and bask in the perpetual SoCal sunshine.

What began with just 35 cars at the first event has swelled into a happening that now regularly sees between 1,000 and 2,000 rides show up each month. The Quarantine Cruise is the brainchild of Jason Scudellari, Hek Valdez, Patrick Wagenbrenner, and Ken Johnson, who set out to bring together everyone who had grown tired of postponed or cancelled events brought on by seemingly endless COVID lockdowns.

As the day began just past dawn at SOCO in Costa Mesa, California, everyone took the time to enjoy each other’s rides for a few hours over coffee and breakfast before hitting the road together down the OC Coast. The event uses multiple meet-up locations to keep things fresh for attendees—at last Sunday’s cruise, for instance, attendees came together at the Westminster Mall in Westminster, California to enjoy a variety of gourmet food trucks and an outdoor holiday market. ‘Tis is truly the season.

“The temperatures may be dropping but that isn’t slowing people down from coming out and being a part of the cruise,” said co-founder Ken Johnson. “The enthusiasm for the event just keeps building and by the time the big day comes, people are pumped up and ready to go. It’s a scene of constant motion. By the time the last cars arrive we’re ready to roll and do it all over again. From the roar of engines to the smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s been one amazing ride for us all.”

The event also has cool Qruisin PCH swag and merch for sale these days. So, if you want a good excuse to get out in the SoCal sunshine and safely drive your pride and joy or just check the best cars in the area and plan your next project.
