1972 Ford F-250 Pickup Truck That Hollywood Star Clint Eastwood Actually Drove In The Film The Mule

Exploring This Epic Pickup Truck

This pickup truck is certainly a special find. The film was broadcast in 2018 and this was the pickup truck featured in that film. This truck is also on sale on eBay for around $58,000. The body of the car is apparently in great condition and what we see as rust isn’t rust, but in fact movie patina painted onto the truck to mimic a rusty exterior. There are an array of window and bumper stickers which are apparently full of sentimental value as they represent things from previous movies of Eastwood’s. All of those stickers were actually seen in the movie.

A Very Cool Movie Gem

There are a couple of Ford options on this truck too. These are the rear step bumper, and the western mirrors on the side of the truck. The color combination looks like it originally was two-tone brown and yellow, a very recognizable combination on the trucks when they were new.

Given the age of the truck, its interior looks like it is in fantastic condition, with very clean seats and all the gauges present. With the brown seat cover noted, it looks like the interior has not changed since the movie wrapped.

Under The Hood Of The F-250

Under the hood of the truck is an optional 360 ci V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The truck has around 74,578 miles on the clock, and supposedly it is a very good runner too. This is one of the most interesting ex-movie cars you could possibly find, and not your traditional barn find.
